NewSpace is a social networking site we at the University of Wales, Newport have setup to help new and prospective students feel part of the institution, even before you've enrolled.

It has similar look and features of such sites as MySpace and Facebook, only here you will be able to contact staff and more importantly Student Mentors to help answer any questions or queries you might have about our University, or just coming to Uni in general.

This is just a demo page to explain the site. In order to access NewSpace properly all you need to do is click on the 'Sign up' link on the right hand side, or any of the tabbed buttons towards the top of the page and it will take you to another page that will ask for confirmation of who you are. Simply complete your name, email address and date of birth, click the 'Sign Up' button. Then all you have to do is type in your real name in the first field of the next page and click 'Join' and you're done!
